Firm attorneys are members of various civic organizations such as the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Houma and the Rotary Club of Houma. Ms. Malbrough was named Kiwanian of the Year for 1999-2000 and participated in Leadership Terrebonne in 1999, an organization designed to train and build community leaders. Ms. Wright is a member of the Leadership Lafourche class of 2012. The firm was nominated for the Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year for 2000 and 2001. Joan Malbrough also received the prestigious "community service" award from the Terrebonne Parish Bar Association in 2006. Joan M. Malbrough has served the legal community in South Louisiana since 1992. She added her first associate in the summer of 1999. As business continued to grow, she relocated to a 3000 square foot office building in September of 2000 and in March of 2009 relocated to a 10,000 square foot building in Gray, LA. In 2011, she hired Donna Wright, who is now a partner in the firm.
